Adopt a Puppy

At Shaggydrover Kennels we breed with the intent of improving the breed and providing our customers with healthy, happy puppies. The welfare of each and every puppy is utmost in our plans when placing them with their new families. The following questionnaire will help us decide which puppy will fit into your lifestyle. After completing the questionnaire we will have further correspondence about the puppy that would best fit into your family.

The "fit" is most important when deciding to add another lifetime member to your family. Adopting a puppy is not a decision on a whim. The article "Don't Buy A PON" is referenced and recommended reading for those of you considering this lifestyle change. We will be here to help you throughout the adjustment period and beyond.

Your purchase price includes a going-home "instruction" manual which will include articles about housetraining, crate training, obedience, toys, games, building your own grooming table, and more. You will also receive a one-year membership to the American Polish Lowland Sheepdog Club, which will keep you updated on the breed as our popularity grows.

We keep in contact with our puppies and their owners at least annually. A Health Questionnaire is sent out each summer so that we are aware of any health concerns in our puppies. We will keep the website apprised of planned litters.
